Underfloor Insulation Wellington

Insulation Tech – We’re Your Team of Experts When It Comes To Underfloor Insulation

Good Insulation Reduces Heat Loss and Lower Heating Bills

Wellington’s climate makes underfloor insulation absolutely essential for maintaining a comfortable, healthy home. The city’s notorious wind, high humidity, and cool temperatures mean that cold air can easily penetrate through uninsulated floors, creating uncomfortable living conditions and driving up heating costs.

We specialise in installing high-performance underfloor insulation using premium polyester materials specifically chosen for Wellington’s conditions. These materials offer excellent thermal resistance while being naturally resistant to moisture, mould, and dampness. Crucial factors in Wellington’s humid environment.

Our installation process begins with

1. A thorough inspection of your underfloor area to identify any existing moisture issues or ventilation concerns.
2. We assess the height of your crawl space, the condition of your floor joists,
3. Use the best insulation solution for your specific property.

Underfloor insulation is eligible for Warmer Kiwi Homes subsidies, which can significantly reduce your installation costs. This funding is available for properties across Wellington, Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt, Porirua, and the wider region – right through to Whanganui.
