For healthier rental properties in New Zealand

The healthy homes standards became
law on 1 July 2019

The healthy homes standards introduced specific and minimum standards for heating, insulation, ventilation, moisture ingress and drainage, and draught stopping in rental properties.

Now, all private rentals must comply within 120 days of any new or renewed tenancy after 1 July 2021, with all private rentals complying by 1 July 2024.

Warmer and drier homes are less likely to have issues with mould or mildew damage, better protecting your investment.

Insulation Tech NZ take the stress out of getting your home compliant with the new RTA (Residential Tenancy Act) Healthy Homes requirements. Once we have completed a full home assessment covering all 5 sections*, you will receive a comprehensive report detailing where your property is compliant and where further work is required (if any).

This will include photos for each section. Additionally, we will provide you with a quote for any work that is required . We can even take care of communication with your tenants.
